Giuseppina Valentina Anna PETRALIA
Associate Professor of European Union Law. She teaches European Union Law, International Law and European Migration Law at the University of Catania.
She was a member of the teaching board of the PHD "Public, Comparative and International Law" in the Department of Political Sciences at La Sapienza University.
She is President of the Adrano-Biancavilla Bar Association. She is a Member of the Italian Society of International Law and European Union Law (SIDI), of the Italian Association of Scholars of European Union Law (AISDUE) and of the Academy "Law and Migration" (ADiM).
She has participated in and directed national research groups; as well as national and international conferences.
She participates in editorial committees of scientific journals and book series.
In her research activity, she has devoted particular attention to the protection of human rights; to the dialogue between national and international courts and the relationship between legal systems; to the international protection of foreigners; as well as to the external action of the European Union.
