Guida alle tesi di laurea

PREREQUISITI:

• non si accettano richieste di tesi via mail;
• è possibile chiedere la tesi SOLO se si sono sostenuti esami di Lingua Inglese;
• è preferibile chiedere la tesi in Lingua inglese se si ha una media uguale o superiore al 25 negli esami di Lingua inglese.

REQUISITI:

1. è opportuno proporre un argomento di tesi vicino agli interessi accademici del docente. Un elenco di possibili argomenti/temi è disponibile alla fine di questo promemoria;
2. è necessario fornire una breve descrizione (250-300 parole) dell’argomento di tesi corredato di indicazioni bibliografiche da rinviare come allegato a messaggio di posta elettronica al docente rinominando il file con Cognome Nome del/la tesista.

TEMPI:

1. non si accettano scadenze per la laurea decise dal/la tesista;
2. è il docente a stabilire i tempi della laurea, cioè quando il lavoro avrà raggiunto una qualità accettabile per essere presentato in seduta di laurea;
3. non è possibile prevedere i tempi della laurea prima che il/la tesista abbia scritto una prima parte della tesi, dalla quale si evinceranno la qualità prodotta e i tempi necessari al  completamento;
4. non si fanno correzioni all’ultimo minuto a ridosso delle scadenze per la consegna. Il materiale da correggere deve essere sottoposto alla docente sempre con LARGO   anticipo. Le correzioni richiedono TEMPO, anche se si tratta di poche pagine: la docente deve correggere contemporaneamente le tesi di tutti/e, non solo la vostra.

MODALITA’ DI CORREZIONE:

1. il docente può correggere tesi consegnate in formato elettronico (word), ma dopo la correzione è necessario un incontro in ufficio. 
2. quando si consegna, scrivere ogni volta sulla prima pagina nome, cognome, indirizzo email; Le pagine devono essere numerate;
3. il docente non legge la posta elettronica né risponde alle email nel fine settimana o nei giorni festivi;
4. il docente non lavora alle tesi durante le vacanze natalizie e pasquali, né durante le ferie estive (metà luglio-tutto agosto).

QUESTIONI di FORMA:

1. tutte le citazioni da testi inglesi (o da altra lingua straniera), sia critici che letterari, vanno fatte in LINGUA ORIGINALE;
2. quando si riportano, anche con parole proprie, dati o commenti altrui, è obbligatorio esplicitare le FONTI, fornendo chiari e completi riferimenti bibliografici dei libri, dei capitoli, degli articoli, o siti internet, da cui si sono tratte le informazioni;
3. il plagio, soprattutto da internet (copiare-incollare brani), non è tollerato e costituisce motivo di interruzione della tesi con il/la docente;
4. per la formattazione del testo, per l’uso delle note, delle fonti bibliografiche e per la bibliografia fare riferimento al modello di stile scaricabile alla fine di questa pagina.

CONSAPEVOLEZZA DI GENERE NELL’USO DEL LINGUAGGIO:

1. non usare il neutro-maschile quando si parla di donne;
2. usare correttamente le forme grammaticali per il femminile;
3. non usare termini sessisti o misogini, quali ad es. “le conquiste dell’Uomo”, il “sesso forte/debole”, ecc.
