Expected Learning Outcomes

 Skills development of linguistic and communicative competences foreseen by the C1 + level of common European framework are also included.

Students, at the end of the course, will demonstrate:

1) knowledge and understanding in a post-secondary level field of study and knowing the fundamental themes in one's field of study;

2) ability to apply knowledge and understanding in order to demonstrate a professional approach and possess adequate skills both to conceive and support arguments and to solve problems in one's field of study

4) ability to communicate one's knowledge clearly and unambiguously to specialist and non-specialist interlocutors.

Course Structure

The course is divided into lectures, lectures, classroom exercise,  verification of learning e written tests for the verification of learning.

Learning Assessment

Learning Assessment Procedures

The course includes two written tests in progress: the first test includes a phraseological comment and a comment on the characteristics of the colloquial register present in a piece; the second verification is the theme (350 words).

 

The written tests do not average with the oral test. Passing the written tests is necessary for the oral exam.

 

The assessment of the exam will take into account the mastery of the contents and skills acquired, linguistic accuracy and lexical properties, as well as the argumentative ability demonstrated by the candidate.
