Detailed Course Content

The role of the cultural sector for social development is constantly growing, thanks to its ability to generate value for its educational, training and recreational purposes, as well as its potential to innovate. For this reason, it is essential to pay attention to the many segments of which it is made up (theatre, cinema, visual arts...).

The course starts from the definition of cultural enterprises and cultural and creative industries and examines the regulations that have led to a greater definition of the sector over the years, examining new models of consumption and participation.

Therefore, it becomes fundamental to define the scenario in which CCIs operate and to know the peculiarities in management, product/service positioning on the market, distribution, forms of financing, promotion and communication, analysing success and critical factors. In particular, strategic planning must take into account three key factors: sustainability, accessibility and inclusiveness, without neglecting the contribution made by new technologies to facilitate the enjoyment and understanding of cultural products.

Ample space is devoted to the examination of innovative experiences implemented in various national and international contexts, which will provide practical tools useful for a better understanding of the subject. In this regard, the analysis of application dossiers of well-known Italian and European projects in the cultural sector will highlight the characteristics of project planning for the development of the attractiveness of a territory through its cultural activities.
