Expected Learning Outcomes

Knowing and understanding audiovisuals.
Communication skills in audiovisual media.
Integrate knowledge and manage complexity,
as well as make judgments based on limited or incomplete information,

including social and ethical responsibilities.

Course Structure

Classes will take place in the first semester, twice a week. A 2-hour, more theoretical lesson and a 4-hour, more practical lesson, in which students will sometimes use the shooting equipment. Presence is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended, because it will allow students to learn about shooting equipment and to use them during the exercises.

Required Prerequisites

Minimum skills in the analysis of a video: frames and camera movements.

Learning Assessment

Learning Assessment Procedures

There will be an optional test, individual or group, which will be discussed in classroom.

The test will focus on some of the technical topics covered in the MOOC.

The final assessment will be based on the skills acquired by the students.
