On 15 January 2026, an international seminar will take place as a collaborative initiative between the Department of Humanities (DISUM) and the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture (DICAR).
The event involves the PhD programmes in Sciences for Cultural Heritage and Production and Urban and Territorial Risk Assessment and Mitigation, hosting visiting professors and researchers from Mongolia and Spain.
The seminar will be held at the Aula Rettangolare (Coro di notte), DISUM.

CHAIN 2025 — Landscapes and Ecology of Culture. Between Humanity and Nature
The fourth edition of CHAIN – Cultural Heritage Academic Interdisciplinary Network will take place in Catania from 26 to 29 November 2025. This international conference is organized by the PhD Programme in Sciences for Cultural Heritage and Production, hosted by the Department of Humanities at the University of Catania.
