SOCIAL EPISTEMOLOGY AND INFORMAL REASONING

Expected Learning Outcomes
According to the Dublin descriptors, students, at the
end of the course, will demonstrate:
1) Knowledge and comprehension: students will learn
the basics of cognitive psychology, behavioral economics, neuroscience, with a
focus on the crisis of rationality. They will also learn a specific model of
company management.
2) Ability to apply knowledge and comprehension:
students will acquire the ability to look at complex work-related (and
personal) situations with greater awareness of the dynamics that underly
decision making and judgment formation.
3) Autonomy of judgment: the subject matter will be
examined with the help of case studies, in order to prompt the students’
personal intuitions.
4) Communicative abilities: students will acquire the
ability to appropriately express, analyze and discuss with other people, issues
concerning decision making.

Learning abilities: students will learn to read relevant texts in autonomy.
