Learning Assessment
Learning Assessment Procedures
Verification of learning will take place through an ongoing test and a final oral test. In both cases, the evaluation will be expressed out of thirty. The grade obtained in the ongoing test will be averaged with the grade obtained in the final oral exam.
TEST IN ITINERE - MODULE A
The ongoing test will consist in the creation of an individual power point that focuses mainly on topics dealt with during the course by the teacher (identified in agreement with the students during the first scheduled lesson). For the evaluation of the ongoing test, the mastery of the topic presented and the originality of the power point will be taken into account.
The topics covered during the ongoing test will not be subject to further verification during the final oral exam.
TEST IN ITINERE - MODULE B
During the lessons, some intermediate oral tests are foreseen for the attending students according to the braistorming method, in order to have an exhaustive picture of the learning processes of the group and of each individual pupil.
FINAL ORAL EXAM - MODULE A and B
For the evaluation of the final oral exam, the mastery of the theoretical contents, the skills acquired (especially the ability to read graphs and maps), the linguistic accuracy and the acquisition of the technical-geographical language related to the phenomena treated will be taken into account, as well as the argumentative and critical skills demonstrated by the student.
N.B .: A good geographical atlas is an indispensable tool for the study of the discipline. For this purpose, at the time of the oral exam, we recommend the use of the latest edition of the New De Agostini Methodical Atlas.
