Learning Assessment

Learning Assessment Procedures

Written exam

Oral exam

The written exam consists of a short translation (from Italian into French), a composition (development of the various parts of the plan outline on topical or literary topics, chosen by the student), or, by choice, by a 'text analysis.

The oral exam is organized on insights into logical analysis, an exposé on dossiers and on translation theory texts.

During the course, students can choose to participate in the ongoing tests on modules A and B. In case of passing the tests, the arguments of the dossiers will no longer be subject to oral examination. The minimum passing score of the test is 18 out of 30. Regular attendance is recommended for those who intend to take these tests.

The assessment of the exam will take into account the mastery of the contents and skills acquired, linguistic accuracy and lexical properties, as well as the argumentative ability demonstrated by the candidate
