German Language and Translation 3

The course lasts the whole year and, according to the Dublin descriptors, aims to develop linguistic, communicative and cultural skills,

as they are defined in the European portfolio, level B2/C1. Both the lectures and in the practical workshops will be focused on the improvement of:

- linguistic and grammatical skills,

- the vocabulary and the communicative skills,

- general and detailed reading and oral comprehension,

- text analysis,

- interpretation and translation of different kinds of written texts

- learning skills necessary to undertake subsequent studies with a high degree of autonomy.

- culture and civilisation of the German speaking countries.

The course includes lectures (more theoretical), and practical exercises (essential for learning a foreign language) carried out with the help of native speakers

- Reader with tales in German language (30 pages). It will be available on the platform Studium.
