In 2021, I completed my Master's Degree in Foreign Languages at the University of Naples "Federico II", carrying out an experimental thesis on pragmatic analysis of recommendation systems.During the same year, I had the privilege of studying abroad for a semester at the University of Osnabrück (Germany) through the Erasmus Project, where I also conducted thesis research.

I am currently  a Ph.D. student in Science of Interpretation (37th Cycle) at the Department of Humanities of University of Catania. My research project centered the formalization of Common Sense Knowledge (CSK) within the field of computational linguistics and semantics. The primary objective of my research is to delve into the formalization of CSK, with a specific emphasis on the study of meaning and its representation at the conceptual level. Ultimately, the goal is to develop tools applicable to Artificial Intelligence for the implementation of advanced dialogue systems.

My research interests fall within the field of computational linguistics, particularly semantics, which deals with knowledge representation and meaning. The main aim of this work is to formalise and represent Common Sense Knowledge for conversational purposes. I plan to define a methodology for the representation of this knowledge through the use of semantic analysis techniques and graph databases as Neo4J, which is used to manage the knowledge graph. The advantage of this type of knowledge representation in a human-computer interaction application lies in the possibility of inferring implicit information for processing and generating appropriate questions in an incomplete dialogue state.
