A causa di impegni in altra sede, il ricevimento e la lezione previsti per il 14 dicembre sono annullati. Venerdì 15 si terrà invece il mock test (prova di simulazione) di fonetica. Gli studenti e le studentesse sono dunque pregat* di portare in classe il test che verrà caricato qualche giorno prima su Studium (sezione prova di fonetica).
Si avvisano gli studenti che nei prossimi giorni, per impegni istituzionali, il ricevimento sarà sospeso. Chi avesse urgenza di contattarmi può inviarmi una mail.
Si informa che il ricevimento di studenti e laureandi e la lezione di lingua e traduzione inglese I anno L11 previsti per l'11 dicembre rispettivamente alle ore 9,00 e alle ore 12 non avranno luogo per causa di forza maggiore.

Students should write a 200 word composition about somebody they admire. This person can be somebody they know or a celebrity. Vocabulary and examples online are IELTS a famous person I would like to meet, someone I admire (learnenglishteens.britishcouncil) and 23 positive adjectives to describe people (speak confident English). Thanks!
These are the titles which were assigned for compositions over the past two weeks:
1) Write an informal e-mail of advice to a friend who suffers from a compulsive shopping disorder. Consider the implications for the friend's financial situation, family, other relationships and their heath.
2)Write about your favourite film or book. Give information about what it is about, its characters, setting etc and why you enjoyed it. (See IELTS books and films vocabulary on-line for help)
