
Ester DI SILVESTRO
Ester Di Silvestro obtained a Master’s Degree in Languages for International Cooperation (LM-38) and a PhD in Interpretation Studies from the University of Catania, where she also worked as a postdoctoral researcher.
She is currently an adjunct professor and senior English language tutor at the Department of Humanities of the University of Catania. In addition, she is a tenure-track researcher (ANGL-01/C) at the Department of Human Sciences of Link Campus University in Rome.
Her research activity focuses on Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), with particular attention to far-right populist discourse, political communication on social media, journalistic discourse (DNVA), and gender representations.
