According to the
Dublin descriptors, students, at the end of the course, will demonstrate:
1) knowledge and understanding skills such as to
reinforce those achieved in the first cycle; ability to elaborate and / or
apply original ideas, in a research context.
2) ability to apply knowledge and understanding and
ability to solve problems to new or unfamiliar issues, inserted in broader
(or interdisciplinary) contexts connected to one's field of study;
3) ability to integrate knowledge and to formulate
judgments on the basis of information that is not necessarily complete;
4) ability to communicate one's knowledge clearly
and unambiguously to specialist and non-specialist interlocutors.
5) ability to carry out research autonomously.
Special objectives:
Module B (3 ECTS)
The course is aimed at the acquisition of conceptual, epistemological
and educational nodes related to the teaching of Geography. as
well as the acquisition of fundamental practical skills, for example: consulting
the basic geographical maps, processing data statistics, interpreting
landscapes observed in reality or in other iconographic documentation, how to develop a
curriculum and design teaching activities, how to choose a textbook, develop
and enhance the specific lexicon, set up field lessons, and evaluate learning
processes.
Module A (3 ECTS)
Moreover, the course aims to promote spatial analysis
skills in order to be able to evaluate and interpret the meaning of spatial
differences and to improve the understanding of the links between
historical-cultural, social and cultural dynamics.
