JAPANESE LANGUAGE AND TRANSLATION 1
Academic Year 2023/2024 - Teacher: SATOMI YOSHIDAExpected Learning Outcomes
Knowledge and understanding:
Students will be able to read and to understand passages on daily topics, written in basic vocabulary and kanji. Students will be able to listen and to understand basic conversation patterns of daily life and generally follow their contents. Knowledge of 200 kanji, of the phonetic lettering systems (hiragana and katakana), and of words of general use.
Applying knowledge and understanding:
Students will be able to apply autonomously and originally the achieved skills and to connect with daily life context (asking or giving information, environment descriptions, basic dialogue, reading and writing skills).
Making judgments:
Comprehension and production of data and information, in both formal and informal contexts.
Communication skills:
The achievement of communication skills will be reinforced by class, laboratory activities, and simulations of ordinary life contexts connected to familiar topics and immediate needs.
Learning skills:
Alongside the class and laboratory activities, students will also carry out individual work aimed at improving their analysis skills and reinforcing reading, writing, listening, speaking and translation skills.Detailed Course Content
