Expected Learning Outcomes
According to the Dublin descriptors, students, at the
end of the course, will acquire:
1) Knowledge and
understanding, in the linguistic field, of the dynamics of historical formation
of Romance languages, of their geographical location, of the major differences
and similarities between them, of the linguistic structures that develop in
diachrony in the passage from Latin to derived varieties; in the literary field,
he will acquire knowledge about the
formation of literary genres in the Middle Ages, according to a comparative
perspective.
2) Basic skills relating
to the application of linguistic-literary knowledge acquired to the reading of
medieval novel texts
3) Learning skills
related to the formation processes of languages and literary systems in their
germinal stages, thanks to the attention that will be paid to methodological
and historical-cultural aspects

practical exercises in class
