
Marco Gaetano PULVIRENTI
He is Researcher in Administrative Law and holds the National Scientific Qualification for the position of Associate Professor in the same academic field.
He earned a Ph.D. in Administrative Law in 2006 and has been admitted to the Italian Bar since 2006.
His research interests focus primarily on cultural heritage, public property, administrative justice, land-use planning and territorial governance, and public procurement. In these areas, he has authored numerous publications and has frequently presented papers at national and international conferences.
He serves on the Editorial Boards of Diritto delle arti e dello spettacolo and Scienze e Ricerche (Area E – Legal, Economic and Social Sciences, Law Section). He is also a member of the Referees Board of Studium Juris and of the Scientific Boards of the book series Diritto amministrativo and Istituzioni e Percorsi di Diritto amministrativo.
He has served as a member of public recruitment and selection committees and was included in both the National Register of Members of Evaluation Committees maintained by the Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) and the Register of Experts for the appointment of tender evaluation committees applying the most economically advantageous tender criterion, maintained by the Sicilian Region. He has also served on numerous evaluation committees for public procurement procedures.
He was a member of the Administrative Law Study Commission of the Catania Bar Association and is currently a member of IRiLoc – Istituto di Ricerca sullo Sviluppo Locale (Institute for Research on Local Development)
