Littératures française et francophone contemporaines: enjeux inerculturels et didactiques

The course aims to delve into the dynamics of modern French and Francophone literature through intercultural and pedagogical tools, focusing on 1) comprehension and 2) analysis of literary genres. After careful examination of the specificities of different genres, emphasis will be placed on the theatrical genre, through a series of literary and critical texts, which showcase the intercultural developments of key moments. Finally, there will be a reflection on the specificity of the relationship between text and image. The course will prioritize 3) thesis learning and developing written and oral production skills, 4) fostering autonomy of judgment, and engaging in document synthesis activities to enhance learning and re-elaboration abilities.

At the student's choice, three poetry collections, three theatrical works and three novels of French and Francophone literature of the twentieth century and contemporary.

During the exam, the student will present a paper on a topic of their choice.
