detailed texts on complex topics, showing confident control of text structure,
connectors and cohesive elements; to translate complex texts, taking into
account in particular the equivalence of their aesthetic effect; to express
themselves fluently and naturally, using the language flexibly and effectively
for social and academic purposes; to handle, through a contrastive approach,
not only the German language, but also Italian autonomously and critically, in
order to develop a solid linguistic awareness.
Detailed Course Content
The course will focus on the acquisition of specific skills to carry out
linguistic and stylistic analysis of literary texts and the translation of
them. Students will learn practical

appropriate translation strategies in order to achieve a stylistic/textual,
symbolic and intercultural competence.
