Expected Learning Outcomes

The course will be articulated A) in the hours of head-on didactic (54 hours in classroom) with the teacher and lectorate (90 hours); and B) in “Language”, “Linguistics and Translation” and “Culture”. Students will improve their linguistic, cultural and historical skills. According to te Dublin descriptors and preparatory to the following year, they will acquire an elementary language level (A1) that will enable them to understand and use everyday expressions for concrete needs, to introduce themselves to others, to describe aspects of their lives in simple terms and to ask questions and provide answers on personal details (where they live and study, what their personal interests are, what their family is like). With reference to the historical and cultural skills, students will be invited to reflect autonomously on some notions of geopolitics, linguistics, culture and current affairs to practically use their linguistic skills and to receive an overview of modern and contemporary Russia. 

Course Structure

Both lessons and lectures involve interaction with the student; the acquisition, through traditional teaching, of the course’s content will therefore be reinforced with exercises, workshops and team work.

- The Morphological system, the Gender Agreement and the Case Forms of Russian Language
