Expected Learning Outcomes
According to the Dublin
descriptors, students, at the end of the course, will demonstrate:
- knowledge and understanding
in a post-secondary level field of study and knowing the fundamental themes in
one's field of study;
- ability to apply knowledge
and understanding in order to demonstrate a professional approach and possess
adequate skills both to conceive and support arguments and to solve problems in
one's field of study
- learning skills necessary
to undertake subsequent studies with a high degree of autonomy.
In the specific field
of ecdotics the student will acquire skills relating to the structure and
composition of the medieval manuscript and elements of the critical edition of
texts.
The student, will acquire, in the linguistic field, a good level of
knowledge of the historical formation of the Romance languages, their geographical distribution, the
major differences and similarities between them, the linguistic structures that
develop in diachrony in the transition from Latin to derived varieties; in the literary field, will
acquire knowledge related to the formation of literary genres in the
Middle Ages, according to a comparative perspective. In the
field of ecdotics he will acquire skills relating to the structure and
composition of the medieval manuscript and elements of the critical edition of
texts.
