Expected Learning Outcomes

1) Knowledge and understanding

Students will acquire knowledge of artistic phenomena and material culture of the modern age and the ability to understand the main methodologies of art-historical analysis

2) Applying knowledge and understanding

Students will be able to apply the acquired knowledge and analysis skills to the classification and description of monuments and artistic works of the modern age, contextualizing them in their respective periods

3) Making judgements

Students will independently apply the acquired knowledge to the reading of specific artistic objects

4) Communication skills

Students will acquire a specific technical language, necessary for a correct communication of art-historical knowledge

5) Learning skills

Students will acquire the ability to carry out research in the field of art history and to access bibliographic and iconographic sources, both printed and digital.
