Expected Learning Outcomes
Acquisition of the fundamental themes of the history of the twentieth
century, with particular reference to the processes of social and political
modernization in European countries and to the conflicts and class
contradictions that characterized them.
According to the Dublin
descriptors, the Course intends to pursue the following aims:
1) knowledge and understanding
skills that reinforce those achieved in the first cycle; ability to elaborate
and/or apply original ideas, in a research context.
2) ability to apply knowledge
and understanding and problem-solving skills to new or unfamiliar topics set in
broader (or interdisciplinary) contexts related to their field of study
3) ability to integrate
knowledge and make judgements on the basis of information that is not
necessarily complete
4) ability to communicate
one's knowledge clearly and unambiguously to specialist and non-specialist
interlocutors
5) ability to pursue research
independently.
