POLICIES FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE EXPLOITATION

Academic Year 2025/2026 - Teacher: ANNA MIGNOSA

Expected Learning Outcomes

The course illustrates the cultural economics analysis of polices aiming at enhancing heritage, paying particular attention to the issue of sustainability.

The course explores the organisation of heritage policies, the reasons that justify their existence and influence their organisation as well as the models implemented in practice. Particular attention is given to the role of heritage for sustainable economic, social and cultural development. National and international documents considering the role of heritage for society will be analysed.
