Expected Learning Outcomes

Knowledge and understanding: knowledge and understanding of how the tourism industry works and the main market trends

Applying knowledge and understanding: knowledge will be applied to the analysis of specific cases

Making judgements: the student must be able to understand the tourism market, its ability to adapt together with the assessment of the sustainability of the industry in the area

Communication skills: the student must be able to demonstrate the conclusions reached with language properties and argumentative skills

Learning skills: the student will have to demonstrate that she/he has understood the methods of analysis of the tourism industry and the various economic operators that make it up

Course Structure

Frontal lessons and cases studies. If the lessons will be in mixed or remote mode, there may be some variations in order to respect the program provided and reported in the syllabus.

Required Prerequisites

No specific prerequisites, apart from the most common knowledge, skills and abilities acquired with a bachelor degree.

Attendance of Lessons

Attendance of the lessons is optional but is still highly recommended

Learning Assessment

Learning Assessment Procedures

The evaluation will be carried out through an oral exam during the established exam sessions. This modality can be replaced in a telematic one, should the conditions require it.
