Temi di ricerca

I miei interessi di ricerca si collocano all’intersezione tra sociolinguistica e studi sul discorso, con una particolare attenzione all’analisi critica del discorso (anche in prospettiva multimodale) e all’analisi di corpora video. Indago fenomeni multimodali quali genere, ibridazione, remediation, intersemiosi e resemiotizzazione, in particolare in relazione al discorso politico e alla comunicazione digitale. La mia attività di ricerca si estende inoltre alla comunicazione interculturale, agli studi sulla traduzione e alla traduzione specialistica, con attenzione a come i significati vengono negoziati tra lingue, modalità e culture. Esploro, infine, lo storytelling, la narrazione e l’auto-narrazione come luoghi privilegiati per la costruzione dell’identità ed esamina i processi di apprendimento linguistico, con un interesse specifico per l’apprendimento informale delle lingue e il ruolo delle tecnologie.
