Anna De Martino is PhD student in Interpretation Sciences (cycle XXXVIII) at the University of Catania and in Arts et Langages at the EHESS in Paris. She graduated in Philosophical Sciences at the University of Naples Federico II and has carried out study and research stays at the University of Lille, the University Paris 1- Panthéon Sorbonne, the University of Lisbon and the State University of Milan. She was also a student at the Postgraduate Course in Critical Theory of Society at the University of Milan Bicocca in A.A. 2021-2022.

Anna De Martino undergraduated with a thesis in Aesthetics dedicated to the deleuzian theory of cinema (The evolution of the spiritual automaton between image-movement and image-time in Deleuze's thought), under the direction of Prof. Leonardo Distaso, and with a Master thesis in Philosophical Hermeneutics, dedicated to the relationship between painting and desire within French thought of the second half of the last century (Vision and Desire. The reflection on painting in Merleau-Ponty, Lyotard and Deleuze), directed by Prof. Maria Teresa Catena. Her current research concerns the relationship between philosophy and geography, which she investigates from an epistemological, aesthetic and political perspective. Under the direction of Prof. Antonino Bondì (UNICT) and Prof. Jean Lassègue (EHESS), she is conducting a research project entitled Re-cartographing the world. An investigation into cartography as an epistemological and relational device.
