Il corso si propone di fornire agli studenti le conoscenze fondamentali di epigrafia greca e romana ai fini di una più profonda comprensione della società antica nei suoi aspetti politici, sociali, economici, religiosi.


Detailed Course Content

The Greek and Roman epigraphy in their historical development. During the lessons will be read and commented Greek inscriptions from the Archaic to Hellenistic period, and then Roman inscriptions, from VII century BC to Late Imperial period. Photocopies of the texts will be distributed and a Power Point will be uploaded.
