Loredana PAVONE
She graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the Faculty of Languages at the University of Catania, where she also obtained a PhD in French Studies – Current Methodologies for the Analysis of Literary Texts (supervisor: Prof. Maria Teresa Puleio). Prior to this, she had earned the French first-level doctoral degree (D.E.A.) at the University of Aix-en-Provence (supervisor: Prof. Inès Oseki-Dépré). She took up her position at the University of Catania as a tenured Researcher (Academic Discipline: L/LIN 03 – French Literature). Subsequently, through internal mobility procedures, she transferred to the Academic Discipline L/LIN 04 – French Language and Translation (new denomination: FRAN-01/B – French Language, Translation and Linguistics; Scientific Disciplinary Group: 10/FRAN-01 – French Language, Literature and Culture). She is a member of Società Universitaria per gli Studi di Lingua e Letteratura Francese (S.U.S.L.L.F.), Centro di documentazione e di Ricerca per la didattica della lingua francese nell'Università italiana (Do.Ri.F.), and Phrasis - Associazione Italiana di Fraseologia e Paremiologia.
