I’m a Full Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the «Dipartimento di Scienze Umanistiche» at the University of Catania, where I teach Theoretical Philosophy (advanced course), Metaphysics and Philosophy of History.
I have also taught Epistemology, Sociology of Culture, History of Aesthetics and Philosophy of Mind.

My research topic is time, in particular the relationship between temporality and metaphysics. Other themes are: the mind as a semantic device; the vitality of classical Greek and Roman thought; the ontological structures and political foundations of artificial intelligence; the animal question as a place to overcome the humanistic paradigm; the Antinatalism.
My most recent book is Episteme. Scritti di filosofia della scienza (Mimesis, 2026).
