Giovanbattista Trebisacce is an associate professor in the Department of Humanities of the University of Catania where he has been teaching since 2011. His research interests are in the field of general pedagogy and the philosophy of education. Attentive reader of the work of Antonio Banfi, he has published several monographs and essays in collective volumes on the concept of intentionality of the philosopher of critical rationalism and on its contributions with Deweyan pragmatism and Husserlian phenomenology.
