Expected Learning Outcomes
1) Knowledge and understanding: Acquisition of tools for the knowledge
and understanding of different kind sof archive
and methodologies for the creation, management and communication of
digital archives. The topics of document management, design, conservation and
accessibility of native digital archives and the topics of digitization
projects in relation to archival information systems and methods of processing
and restitution on the web, will be covered during the lessons.
2) Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: The course will enable
students to organize, manage and communicate digital and digitized funds and to
enhance and describe documentary sources in interdisciplinary contexts.
3) Autonomy of judgment: Acquisition of critical and interpretative
skills that will allow a methodological framing of the topics in the scientific
context; skills in identifying and selecting archival and bibliographic sources
and tools, and the ability to recognize good and bad practices.
4) Communication skills:
acquisition of communication skills on the topics through the specific
vocabulary and appropriate descriptive methods, in an interdisciplinary
dialogue.
5) Learning
ability: acquisition of a method based on the topics critical elaboration and
on the ability to orient itself among the knowledge tools, both analogical and
digital.
