FRENCH LANGUAGE AND TRANSLATION 2

1)       Knowledge and understanding

The course involves the acquisition of the linguistic-communicative skills of comprehension, production and interaction required by level B1/B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

2)       Ability to apply knowledge and understanding

Thanks to the acquisition of linguistic-cultural skills in French and Francophone areas, students will be able to use and combine knowledge in an interdisciplinary way, as well as interpret and compare different linguistic and cultural fields.

3)       Autonomy of judgement

Through the interpretation of data useful for the formulation of autonomous judgements, students will be able to deal with problematic situations arising from the comparison between different languages ​​and cultures, and combine knowledge in an interdisciplinary way, orienting themselves in the context of intercultural mediation.

4)       Communication skills

Students will be able to express information, opinions, projects and solutions in an articulated and complex way and to effectively and autonomously convey the skills acquired during the course in mediation work contexts.

5) Learning ability

Students will be able to relate and interact with heterogeneous interlocutors and in different cultural and professional contexts, whose methods of expression and communication they will be able to interpret, understand and use independently. They will also develop the ability to learn continuously, identifying strategies to acquire new knowledge and skills.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
