PhD research project: Development of an investigation protocol aimed at identifying underwater archaeological sites.

The research project is aimed at increasing and improving the non-invasive methods of archaeological knowledge and prospecting. Specifically, it addresses the development of a miniaturized magnetic gradiometer prototype to be attached to a robot in order to guarantee a good compromise between resolution and penetration capacity (investigation depth). The system aims to be able to acquire data remotely and focus the path with the aim of optimizing the acquisition of the data and consequently any archaeological sites present in the investigation area.
